There’s no escaping the joys of fancy dress at Halloween – the spooky holiday which is celebrated just about everywhere in the world by groups of excited people taking to the streets in all manner of fright-night costumes, knocking on doors to demand a “trick or treat”.

Dressing up in a Halloween costume, however, doesn’t have to be confined to the night itself (October 31). Halloween parties happen all over the place in the lead up to the occasion, and continue for weeks into November too. Halloween is just too much fun to confine to one night!
